Happy Birthday, Grandmère!!!

Today is my Grandmère's birthday, and to celebrate I thought I'd post a delightful picture of her and I, which was taken last fall.

Although it looks like she is struggling to hold me, I am actually as light as a feather, so she must have a pebble in her shoe!!!

I love you, Grandmère!!

Thank you for the birthday greeting, Boswell. I LOVE YOU TOO!
PS You are light as a feather. I had two peebles in my shoe. I guess that's it, yes it was 2 peebles.

She looks like she's going in for a kiss to me. Who can blame her!

Happy birthday, Boswell's Grandmere!

Do you actually allow people to pet you or give you a kiss Boswell? My guess is that alot of your admirers would want to give you a hug or a kiss.

After such a long time off, I was glad to see your posts again. I missed your stories Boswell.

I was sad to read about your sister. Would it offend you and OOF, I mean Mark, if I would name one of our new computers after Woglinde? She seemed so sweet. Unlike the parrots in our house. I wish they would refer to us with something as nice or clever as OOF. They normally just refer to my husband and me as "Servant."

Thank you for asking, Mr. or Ms. Anonymous. I think Woglinde would be a fine name for a new computer.

Hello... I hope all is well there... I am very much in love with a 3 month old Embden gosling, who is now pretty large but still sleeps indoors in a box under a rug. I would love to share a photo with you if you were interested....although married with 4 sons, I am enjoying this love affair with a passion.... Jane

No, It is with great sadness that I must tell you that Boswell has passed. He was a one-of-a-kind very special boy.

Love to your three geese.

I am so sorry to hear of sweet Boswell's passing. May I ask when he passed? Your story of taking such extraordinary care of him with his cancer touched my heart.
